As a self-taught acrylic artist, Anna’s only formal training was from Chris Doman during high school. She rediscovered her love for art in 2008 and began creating many whimsical and colourful paintings.
Born and raised in North Saanich, many of her paintings reflect the local beauty: gulf islands, beaches, trees and farm critters.
Anna is married to her love John, a proud mom to two incredible sons Nik (Naomi) and Joey (Jelena), stepmom to Ryan and Emily (Kael) and Granna to three beautiful grandchildren Ruby, Theo and Bowie.
As a Firefighter at the Victoria Airport, she spends her days off painting in their cozy log home, across from Pat Bay.
Her art has been displayed at Galloway Chiropractic and Massage, The Fickle Fig, The Roost, Panorama Leisure Centre, McTavish Academy of Art and the hydro box (goats) across from Thrifty Foods in Sidney.
